First Day
Here's Max on his first day of preschool. I got him all prepared, telling him I would stay with him as long as he wanted and when he was ready for me to leave he could tell me, but I wouldn't leave until then. We were there for maybe ten minutes, surrounded by kids clinging to their parents like white on rice when he glanced back at me and said, "Mama, you leave now." Well all righty then. I'm trying not to be offended but instead grateful that he's ready for some action away from me.

Congrats to Max. It's hard to imagine how he could be more adorable.
That's great! Way to go Max! How'd you enjoy a few hours off?
Hooray! I am glad it was such an easy transition. I know I shed more tears than Aida did. Gulp.
be stoked he can go on his own. you can always refer back to it if he ever feels intimidated later on.
and most importantly, he looked the dashing man on his first day! i'm sure many preschool girls swooned.
I'm so glad he did so well Kristen! That makes it so much easier on the mommy.
What a cutie! We sure do miss that Max! Nikolai wants to know why we can't visit Michigan everyday! :)
Yay for preschool! Emma is loving it so much. She, like Max, is a social bug and didn't even notice me once when we got there... so I didn't even last 10 minutes. Only problem is, Ava is old enough to be jealous and doesn't think it is fair that she can't go to preschool too!
"Like white on rice"... I'm still laughing at that! I can't believe Max is old enough for preschool!
Man I could only dream!
