The Office

Abram's birthday is this Saturday and while Sherry was here she gave him a calender titled: "The Office: A 2008 inspirational wall calender" It gave us a few good laughs since it is our FAVORITE show. However, I was a little disappointed it didn't include one of my favorite quotes from Dwight:

Jim: Dwight, if you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Dwight: I can travel anywhere, except Cuba, and I will travel to New Zealand and walk the Lord of the Rings trail to Mordor and I will hike Mount Doom.

My favorite line last week was from Creed in the middle of that brilliant sequence of dialogue about the use of the word "whomever":
Ryan: What I really want, honestly, Michael is for you to know it so that you can communicate it to the people here, to your clients, whomever.
Michael: Oh okay.
Ryan: What?
Michael: It's whoever, not whomever.
Ryan: It's whomever.
Michael: No, whomever is never acutally right.
Jim: Nope, sometimes it's right.
Creed: Michael is right. It's a made up word used to trick students
To trick students! Creed kills me. Definitely my favorite character. So on that note, I'm about to go watch this week's episode and go to bed happy.

Creed is your favorite? Really? I think, at least right now, Kelly is mine. And I couldn't be more thrilled that they've gone back to the 1/2 hour format. Much funnier this way. And poor Dwight.

I think my favorite scene last week was when the little amish boy was running next to their car all the way in to dwight's bed and breakfast. Hilarious.

Of course Creed is my favorite. "Creed Bratton has never declared bankruptcy. When Creed Bratton gets in trouble, he transfers his debt to [holds up passport] Williams Charles Schneider." and "I've been involved in a number of cults, both as a leader and a follower. You have more fun as a follower. But you make more money as a leader." I mean, what a character! Brilliant!

I don't know if I dare say this to you for the fear of an ended friendship, but I'm not a fan of the office :) I saw a bit of an episode about rabies/refusing to drink water and did have a laugh, but that is as far as that goes. Maybe you'll have to tell me more next week!

I think the top so far this year is Dwight versus the Dunder Mifflin website. "Who am I?"

I think My fav all time moment(and it's really hard to chose just one) was when Jim trained Dwight to take a mint every time his computer turned on. Hilarious!!

Okay, I really could care less about the Office quotes, but I love the pictures. That Aviva is beautiful. I just wanted to jump through the screen and hold and kiss those adorable children. Thanks for sharing.

We love The Office too. I think it just gets better and better. It's like a Dilbert cartoon in real life...sort of.
