Tuesday

Yesterday we went to Port Adelaide to the Maritime Museum and Lighthouse.  Max loooooved the big boat he got to play on.  Eventually we would coerce him to some other part of the museum and then he would say, "play on BIG SHIP!"  So we would head back.  There was also a fun exhibit where we got to lock him and Grandma up.  We thought about just leaving him there (he hasn't exactly been a ray of sunshine lately), but backed down at the last minute considering he was actually giving hugs to Grandma and Grandpa finally.

That night we played a rousing game of Scrabble.  In spite of his previous grumblings, Abram said it was the first enjoyable game of Scrabble he has ever played.  So here are the stats (for previous visitors who may have become interested in the Adelaide Scrabblemania that rules the mission president's house): Mom - 1, Dad - 0, Abram - 0, Kristin - 0.

I love playing Scrabble with your parents. I love watching your dad look at your mom's letters when he gets bored with his own. And your mom is the one person I never feel bad losing to.

Seems like father like son, obsessed with sailing on the open seas.

Ha! Your mom likes to win on the first round I guess. She beat us all the first night too, but then she never won again. Sorry Delsa.
