So the ones I really want are $25 each. I'm not quite there yet, since I could just buy some at Giant for 99 cents, but I figure that the following are a good compromise. The set of 5 is $35. So now I'm trying to decide which ones to get and that's where you come in and give me your vote. Or, if you know of other cute ones, let me know. Here are your choices...

Going Green
A while ago I saw an Oprah Show about how to go green. She challenged everyone to take one idea from the show and implement it into their life. And since I never turn down a challenge from the missionaries or Oprah... I started unplugging the toaster when I'm not using it, switched to compact florescent light bulbs, and have been meaning to buy reusable grocery bags, but I'm just now getting around to it.

Although #2 has inspiring colors and resembles many good food choices along the lines of fruits and veggies, #1 is so stylish and falls within chic mommmy apparel. My vote is with #1 :)
I actually was going the other way--#1 is more stylish, but #2 has such happy colors, it makes you want to fill 'em up with good food.
Are the handles on both the same length? What I love about the cheap Giant ones is that they are long enough to put them on your shoulder which makes unloading the car easier. I would make sure this 'feature' is available on these fancy models. If they are, I vote #2.
Are both of them the same size? B/c the one Oprah gave away on her show seemed tiny. I thought, here's a woman that doesn't shop for herself.
I vote for whichever one is bigger. And if they're the same, I vote for #1.
I ended up just using the cheap store brand bags because of the long handles and the square bottom. I decided that making fewer trips from car to house was worth my not being as fashionable.
Also, we replaced all the bulbs in our house with the low energy kind. I hate them in my bathroom because the light isn't as flattering. Maybe I'll exempt that one room. I just read though, that they have mercury in them and are a hazzard when the break. I didn't know this before, and wondered if I'm saving a little energy only to cause more toxic trash in the end. Anyone know the truth?
#2 for sure. By the way, I am impressed by your efforts. I am so NOT green so maybe you'll inspire me.
I second exactly what Shauri said. #1 is more chic, but #2 is very happy. If I were buying them (instead of STILL using plastic, gasp), I think I would go with #1.
#1 hands down!. I've also been trying to be more "green" but I had no idea about the toaster thing, I'll add it to the list!
#2, the bright colors are too yummy and fun to pass up.
As usual, Shauri is right on. :) I think #2 is the way to go for groceries.
I actually think that #2 is more stylish, not even just happier or fruitier. And FYI I just played the link of Aviva laughing in the room below L's nursury and it seriously pissed her off. -Brandi
Good luck, I have some of those bags and I always remember I left them home when I get to the grocery store
Brandi! I've waited all my blogger life for you. Welcome.
#2...let us know what you end up getting!
