Unfortunately, our family were not equally good guests. Considering all the new sleep issues, Max was a disaster, and Abram was sick as a dog. Here is a picture of Max halfway through the nativity story when he has apparently decided to stop the senseless charade. And here he is Christmas morning when he refused to open any presents for the first 45 minutes. He didn't moved from this position on his dad's lap.
I guess he finally figured his cousins might just keep opening presents and there wouldn't be any left for him so he joined in.
On Christmas Eve we opened one Christmas present each - Mickey Mouse pajamas! I've since realized that the problem with getting a child an article of clothing that they love is that they won't take it off.
There were some highlights however. Namely, watching Walt kick everyone's butt at 80's, 90's & Pop Culture Trivial Pursuit, seeing Dan overcome his ham aversion and prepare a delicious dinner with Claire, watching Max follow some random girl around the playground saying "Hi Katie" and looking confused as to why she wasn't responding, and seeing the cousins sit right next to each other despite the fact that they were sitting on the biggest couch I have ever seen in my life.

I love the pajamas. I can't help but notice a curious ornament on top of your Christmas Tree. Do you put Angel Moroni on top of your Christmas tree?
No, that would be your other curious brother, Dan. That's at their house.
So cute! Love the matching PJ's...sorry Abram was sick but it sounds like Max always makes up enough excitement/stories for the rest of you.
i don't mean to belabor the point, but i must also cast a vote in favor (good, strong favor) of the matching pajamas. they are, in my opinion, the stuff true christmas is made of.
Jeff and I are both LOVING the pj's! Max's drama during the nativity is just classic.
By the way, I love that you posted your recipes. I'm excited to try some out.
Merry Christmas - we miss you guys! I never thought I would see your whole family sporting Mickey Mouse! I saw a pair of adult footie pj's at Wal-Mart a few days ago and almost bought you all a new set, maybe next year. : )
Happy Birthday! I've been thinking about you today and hope to talk to you soon!
Ryan and I are reading this together. We were glorying in the fact that you are a great mother though we were never sure whether you would agree to turn into a mother at all. We love you and will be glad when we can all be together again at Christmas.
Lisa is killing me!! LOL!! I too never thought I would see Abram in Micky jammies. That is one secure man. :)
